Shipping

When will my order ship?
Orders are shipped 24-48 hours (Monday-Friday) after order receipt, except during Holidays.

Can I ship to a PO Box?
Yes, but only using USPS (United States Postal Service). Be sure to choose USPS Priority Mail or Parcel Post.

How are domestic shipping costs calculated?
Shipping costs are calculated during checkout based on your ship to address. If you experience problems getting a cost using one of our shipping partners (USPS, UPS) during checkout please call customer service 877-796-0884 (M-F 9:30am-5pm EST. USA) or email us [email protected] and we can provide shipping cost, approximate time of delivery and help to complete your order.

Free Shipping
Some products have Free Shipping over a certain dollar amount. This Free Shipping applies to products shipping to most US States & does not include Alaska or Hawaii. You will see Free Shipping in Shopping cart if it applies to the product and your location.

International Shipping

What countries do you ship to?
We ship all over the world however we currently cannot ship to the following countries: China, Iran, Iraq, Russia, Taiwan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, Uzbekistan.

How much duty and taxes are charged on international orders?
Duty (customs tariffs) is set by the destination country customs authorities and is determined based on a combination of the country of origin or manufacturing of the goods being purchased, and the classification of that merchandise in accordance with a harmonized system adopted and used by the country it’s shipping to. Value Added Tax (VAT) rates are set by the destination country. You will be responsible for these costs. You’re welcome to call Ergo Chef’s customer service to get a detailed shipping cost & assistance in processing your order.

Payment

When am I billed?
Your credit card account will be billed at the time of check out.

How can I pay for my order?
We accept VISA, Master Card, American Express and Discover for credit card payments.
Your Billing address must match the name and address on the credit card to avoid delays.

We also offer Affirm Payment solution which if approved allows you to pay over time.  You can choose this option on the checkout page. 

Knife Care / Washing

We always recommend hand washing our knives.  Use of a dishwasher voids warranty as it can damage the knife blade and handle over time depending on the power and heat of the dishwasher as well as detergents. Always hand wash & towel dry your knives for a lifetime of pleasurable use and looks. 

Knife Maintenance / Sharpening

It is recommended that you home your used knife blades at least once a month if not more based on how they are holding up and performing.  All knife edges will burr with use, which means the edge rolls over and becomes dull.  Honing the knife blade will straighten the burrs and allow it to perform better.

Over time (Months of use) your knife will need sharpening. You can sharpen our knives by using a Diamond coated sharpening rod, a wet stone or send them in for professional sharpeing at Ergo Chef or a good qualified sharpener in your area.
